PLASTIC EXPANSION SCREW

INTRODUCTION

At present, expanding plastic anchor are widely used in building installation projects. Their main purpose is to fix the installed objects on the walls or ceilings of the built buildings. With the development of the times, non-load-bearing walls of buildings are made of environmentally friendly and energy-saving materials, such as lightweight block walls. Due to their low density and low strength, the existing method of fixing the hangers by iron can no longer achieve a safe fastening effect. When installing various substrates, plastic expansion plugs can effectively improve the shortcomings of wood. At the same time, plastic has a high density, and its shrinkage and toughness are more accurate than wood materials. It can also be varied in shape and structure, and can be customized according to the application occasion. Therefore, plastic expansion screw plugs are widely promoted and applied. Expansion plugs are used to fasten the connection and installation of various small and medium-sized hanging items, and are used with expanding plastic anchor. The existing expansion plug includes an expansion plug head and an expansion plug body. A crack is provided along the longitudinal center of the expansion plug head, a reverse tooth is provided on the outer wall of the expansion plug head, and a screw introduction hole is provided along the longitudinal center of the expansion plug body. The diameter of the plastic expansion screw introduction hole is larger than the diameter of the crack. When the plastic expansion screw enters the crack through the screw introduction hole, the crack is expanded by the head of the plastic expansion screw, and the reverse tooth on the outer wall of the expansion plug head bites with the inner wall of the wall drilling hole, so that the expansion plug is fixedly connected to the wall. At the same time, since the diameter of the plastic expansion screw introduction hole is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the self-tapping screw, the self-tapping screw and the expansion plug are also fixedly connected during the process of screwing the self-tapping screw into the screw introduction hole, so that the pendant is firmly fixed to the wall through the self-tapping screw. 

HOW TO ASSEMBLE

1. Positioning

Before formally installing the expanding plastic screw anchors, it is necessary to clarify the specific position where the expanding plastic screw anchors is to be used and mark it.

2. Punching

After marking, you can start punching. When drilling holes, pay attention to the following points: First, the drill bit model used for drilling holes must match the expansion tube equipped with the expanding plastic screw anchors. Second, the drilling depth needs to be slightly deeper than the length of the expansion tube.

3. Installation

After the drilling is completed, the expansion tube can be installed. Generally, after the expansion tube is inserted into the drilled hole, it needs to be gently hammered in with a hammer until it is level with the wall. But be careful not to use too much force during the process to avoid damaging the expansion tube.
